The short version: we collect the minimum needed to send you briefs and run your membership — essentially your email address and your subscription status. We don't run ads, we don't use tracking pixels or analytics cookies, and we never sell or share your data for marketing.
1What we collect
That's the whole list. We don't collect your name, your trading activity, your Kalshi account details, or anything about your positions — we have no way to see any of that, and we want none of it.
2How we use it
- To send the emails you signed up for: daily briefs, gap alerts, and essential account or billing notices.
- To operate the member desk — checking that your seat is active when you sign in.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions about you, and we do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else.
3Who processes it
Your data lives with a small set of infrastructure providers acting on our instructions:
- Supabase — database and authentication (your email, account, and subscription records).
- Stripe — payment processing (card details never touch our systems).
- Resend — email delivery.
- GitHub Pages & Railway — website hosting and the data pipeline.
Each provider has its own security practices and privacy policy. We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we only disclose it beyond these providers if the law requires it.
4Cookies and local storage
The public site sets no tracking cookies. When you sign in to the member desk, our authentication provider stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in — that's functional, not tracking. There is no third-party advertising or analytics on any page.
5Retention
We keep your email and account records while your subscription or free signup is active. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems; brief delivery logs age out with our providers' standard retention. Aggregated, non-personal records (like the public scorecard) contain no subscriber data at all.
6Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe — every brief and alert includes an unsubscribe link; using it stops that email stream immediately.
- Access / deletion — email us and we'll tell you what we hold about you (it will be short) or delete it. Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR or CCPA jurisdictions), you may have formal rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing — we honor these requests regardless of jurisdiction.
7Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
8Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll post the update here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, note it in the brief.
